Public opinion
Two types of public opinion surveys conducted in Slovenia are
crucial for monitoring the trends of public opinion attitudes towards
Slovenia's accession to NATO: Politbarometer - the monthly
telephone poll and the field surveys.
The results of public opinion surveys performed in recent years by
various research institutions, especially those done by the Faculty of
Social Sciences, show that the majority of respondents support the
idea of membership.
