Inclusion in international organisations
States attempt to ensure the greatest possible security for
themselves through inclusion in international organisations as
well. All countries, including neutral ones, are members of numerous
international organisations, and many of these also have the goal of
preserving international peace and security. From the perspective of
guaranteeing Slovenia's security, we may cite the United Nations, the
Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the European
Union and NATO as key international organisations.
