The mandate of one shift in the MAPE and OSCE missions is of 6
months with the possibility to extend it twice for 6 months each
time, the mandate of one shift in the UNTAET and UNMIK missions is of
12 months with the possibility to extend it for additional 6
months. by rule the Slovene police officers so far participated in all
missions in shifts of 18 months each.
